✨ One year later, and this Key West wedding still makes me smile.Rachel + Nick’s day was one of those weddings that just felt easy — ocean breeze, soft light, happy tears, and a whole lot of laughter. Even with the cloudy skies, the beach gave us the dreamiest glow, and their seafoam blue palette looked perfect against the water.From the ceremony moments that felt so real and emotional, to the just-married walk back down the aisle with champagne and huge smiles… they were completely in the moment, soaking it all in with the people they love most. The quiet kiss beneath the florals. That walk hand in hand under the palms like no one else exists. And the sweetest flower girl moment that just melts you.And here’s your reminder: intimate can absolutely be elevated. A smaller guest count does not mean less impact. The energy, the color, the way you two kept finding each other in every moment, little hand squeezes, big smiles, that effortless we’re in this together look.Allie, that walk across the lawn with your girls behind you was such a moment. Dress in hand, glowing, totally owning it. And the mismatched bridesmaids dresses were perfection. The soft florals, buttery yellows, and peaches were all different, all flowing, and somehow perfectly cohesive. It felt fresh, romantic, and so right for Deering Estate.Then that late afternoon light showed up and did its thing. The sky turned peach and gold, the glow wrapped around you both, and somehow the sunset matched your energy, bright, warm, and completely alive. The way you leaned into each other as the sun dipped lower was pure magic.Your whole day felt colorful, joyful, and full of heart. One year down and still glowing. Some of my favorite moments on a wedding day are the ones that happen in between - the quiet hugs, shared smiles, and the way generations connect without saying a word.Jack’s grandmother Sandi is such a special part of their family. Every time she walked up to Jack for a hug or met him at the end of the aisle, her face lit up. She was right there for the cake cutting and later out on the dance floor with Jack and Carly, soaking in every moment.While the focus is always on the bride and groom, a wedding is really about the people who shaped them.
